Supported boards
A board not on the list still works. Supported says how much sharkfin already knows about yours.
sharkfin talks to the keyboard's settings, never to your typing. The boards speak one of two command sets, and the board says which when it is plugged in.
| In the list, command set known | Writable. Most boards. |
| In the list, command set not on file | sharkfin asks the board and writes once you allow it. Setup walks it to working. |
| Not in the list | The same, from the board's own answers. |
| The board cannot say | Read-only. Send a bundle from the Contribute tab. |
| boards | 1316 |
| writable out of the box | 1112 |
| drawn out of the box | 331 |
| drawn after a one-time check | 753 |
Pictures
Drawn out of the box, drawn after a one-time check, or a grid of key slots you can draw over on the Keys tab. All three work the same. The check exists because two boards can share a picture and disagree about where a key sits, so sharkfin asks you once before it remaps on a shared one.
